The Consulting Analyst of Consulting and Service Delivery is a valued member of the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), reporting to the Senior Manager of Consulting and Service Delivery. Under direct supervision, the Consulting Analyst supports the planning and execution of strategic and operational initiatives across the enterprise by providing analytical, project coordination, and administrative support to Internal Consultants and Senior Consulting Analysts. The Consulting Analyst works within established frameworks and processes, contributing to the team's ability to deliver high-quality consulting and project management services across MUSC Health. This role is well-suited for an early-career professional who brings strong foundational skills in data, organization, and communication, and who is eager to grow within a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The Consulting Analyst will develop core competencies in healthcare consulting, project management, and data analysis through hands-on engagement with enterprise. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute in a team environment. A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative within defined responsibilities is essential to success in this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are required. Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in a related field with no prior experience required. Experience within an academic medical center or large, integrated health system is preferred. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment is essential. Ability to work with multiple project teams simultaneously is required. Strong interpersonal skills required to foster collaborative partnerships in a team environment preferred. Experience managing or coordinating projects, including meeting support, documentation, planning, and monitoring tasks and deliverables preferred. Experience analyzing data and developing meaningful information to support decision making preferred. Working knowledge of Tableau, SharePoint, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and project management tools preferred. Required Certifications / Skills:
1. Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP) certification required within 6 months of hire. Preferred Certifications/Skills:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or equivalent) AI certifications in healthcare AI applications, AI strategy, or equivalent Experience with AI agent development or intelligent automation platforms Preferred Tools & Technical Skills:
