Responsibilities We are looking for a Project Manager with a great attitude, strong client focus, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment to join our Columbia, Maryland team. Developing a purchasing schedule and strategy to anticipate, address and resolve purchasing challenges during the initial stages of pre-construction. Collaborating with Estimating and Purchasing in setting up of projects to insure profitability, client satisfaction and the best subcontractors for the project. Working in partnership with the Project Superintendent to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule. Thorough completion of all financial data with an eye to quickly identify potential/existing issues that could lead to subpar financial performance. Maintaining and developing relationships to reinforce a commitment to world-class customer service across the board: including co-workers, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and the design community. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in construction project management with a hospitality/multifamily general contractor. Experience building multiple projects at a time specifically in Hospitality and Multifamily buildings. Occupied space experience is a must. Experience with civil/site work and MEP is a must. Must live within a commutable distance to Charleston, SC. This is not a remote position. Direct responsibility for leading and developing staff. Highly organized, client focused, and ability to connect. Experience with Timberline, Sage and Procore or similar project management tools required.
