ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory Provide oversight and performance management of Assistant Project Managers, Team Leads, and Associates. Lead staffing strategy, recruitment, and retention efforts for multiple program areas. Act as on-site leadership backup when needed. Participate in interdisciplinary planning for associate development and support. Model and reinforce CARES+ values across all worksites and programs. Promote employee recognition and engagement initiatives. Contract & Program Compliance Ensure adherence to AbilityOne requirements and Fort Jackson contract expectations. Oversee compliance across custodial and production operations. Manage MOAs and partnerships associated with workforce programs. Monitor budgets, supply usage, and financial performance for all assigned areas. Maintain compliance documentation and reporting accuracy. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve compliance issues. Operations & Production Oversight Oversee productivity, workflow, and efficiency of the Centralized Production program. Ensure alignment of production goals with organizational and workforce development objectives. Support operational improvements and process standardization. Quality Assurance Develop and maintain a quality control system for custodial and production services. Perform inspections, audits, and corrective action planning. Lead risk mitigation efforts and compliance monitoring. Administrative Track and resolve customer and stakeholder concerns within 24 hours. Monitor supply chain processes and ensure cost efficiency. Maintain comprehensive contract and program tracking systems. Prepare reports for leadership on performance, outcomes, and compliance. Education Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Human Services, or related field. Work Experience Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in: Government or military contracts Production or manufacturing operations Workforce development / disability services Job Requirements Valid SC Driver's License Ability to obtain Fort Jackson clearance within 60 days Strong technical, administrative, and leadership skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements, Safety, Work Hours, and Work Attire Physical Requirements:
Daily requirements may include, but are not limited to, driving, sitting, walking, climbing, balancing, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, stooping, kneeling, handling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Associate may regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Maybe exposed to dust and odors. Maybe required to do limited work outdoors.

Report all accidents, however slight, to your supervisor immediately. Never leave the premises without reporting any accident that occurred during your working time. The Midlands Project Manager supports the Director of Vocational Services and is responsible for oversight of custodial services and vocational programs within the Midlands region. The role ensures compliance, operational efficiency, and workforce development outcomes across multiple program areas.
