Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Schedule Manager to join a major healthcare modernization initiative. If you excel at driving enterprise-level timelines, tracking vendor delivery, and mastering MS Project, we want to hear from you!

Project Schedule Manager Consultant Work Arrangement:
Fully Onsite (5 days/week)
Location:
Columbia, SC (Candidates must be South Carolina residents)

Business Casual Core Responsibilities Schedule Ownership:
Build, maintain, and analyze the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and master project schedule.
Vendor Oversight:
Monitor and audit contracted IT vendors to ensure schedule alignment, best practices, and delivery.
Metrics & Reporting:
Produce weekly schedule variance, critical path analysis, and earned value metrics.
Team Coordination:
Run project schedule meetings and assist track leads with task decomposition and resource forecasting.
What We Are Looking For Required Experience:
PMO Governance (3 5 Years): Managing project execution, tracking baselines, and handling risks/issues. Scheduling & Metrics (2 3 Years): Hands-on experience with resource management and tracking project metrics. SDLC (2 3 Years): Background planning Software Development Lifecycles.
Tools:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ( SharePoint, Excel, Visio , Word, PowerPoint). Preferred (Major Pluses): MS Project Server / PWA (3 5 Years): Advanced experience with Project Web App. Agile Methodology (3 5 Years): Strong understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
Certification:
Active PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a business/technical field (or an Associate's degree with 10+ years of PM experience).
