From cutting-edge resources and a collaborative environment to the freedom to make an impact and more, you'll find the ingredients you need at LPL Financial to shape your success while helping clients pursue their financial goals.
Job Overview:
The Senior Project Manager, Advisor Real Estate supports LPL Financial's advisor real estate portfolio and is responsible for leading real estate project execution across a variety of initiatives. While there will be a significant focus on Liquidity & Succession (L&S) transactions, this role also supports broader project management needs across the advisor portfolio. The Senior Project Manager serves as the project management point of coordination for real estate‑related workstreams, informing project scope and budgets, managing execution within approved financial parameters, and partnering with internal teams and external vendors to deliver work aligned with LPL standards, branding, and business timelines. Given LPL's continued growth and evolving business needs, the scope of this role may evolve over time.
Why This Role Matters:
Advisor real estate projects are often closely tied to business milestones, growth initiatives, and organizational change. Effective project management helps ensure these initiatives are executed thoughtfully, efficiently, and in alignment with enterprise standards and financial expectations. This role supports successful outcomes across the advisor real estate portfolio by providing strong project management coordination, budget discipline, and cross‑functional alignment. The Senior Project Manager helps enable timely delivery, supports a consistent advisor and employee experience, and contributes to long‑term portfolio and business success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead real estate project management activities across the advisor portfolio, including initiatives associated with Liquidity & Succession transactions as well as other advisor real estate projects. Manage a broad range of real estate project scope, which may include, but is not limited to, office transitions, refreshes, relocations, consolidations, new office setups, supplemental power and data needs, TV/AV additions, signage updates, furniture replacement or supplementation, and light interior refreshes (e.g., carpet, paint, or other finish updates). Coordinate architectural, furniture, and existing‑conditions surveys as needed to document current conditions and support scope development and cost estimating. Develop project schedules, monitor milestones and dependencies, and proactively manage risks to support alignment with business timelines and priorities. Inform and develop real estate scope inputs used to establish project and deal budgets. Track project costs against approved budgets, review vendor proposals and invoices for scope and budget alignment, and obtain required approvals for scope changes or spend exceeding approved budgets. Serve as the project management point of coordination for real estate workstreams, partnering with internal teams while recognizing that other functional owners may directly manage specific components of projects. Partner closely with Corporate Real Estate teammates and internal stakeholders, including Technology, Marketing, Corporate Development, Integrations, and other supporting teams, to align scope, timing, responsibilities, and dependencies. Coordinate with landlords, external vendors, architects, furniture partners, and service providers to execute approved scope in accordance with LPL standards and processes. Maintain accurate project documentation, including scope, schedules, budgets, approvals, and closeout materials. Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, budget considerations, and upcoming activities. Support additional advisor real estate initiatives and related responsibilities as needed in response to evolving business priorities, portfolio growth, or changes in organizational needs. Our ideal candidates pursue greatness, act with integrity, and are driven to help our clients succeed. We value those who embrace creativity, continuous improvement, and contribute to a culture where we win together and create and share joy in our work.
