- Job Description
- The Project Manager III will have oversight of a specific area and establishing a course of action within limits of company practices and guidelines, the purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of establishing an execution framework on the project that complies with the contract and ensures the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and Fluor profitability of the completed project.
- Basic Job Requirements
- + Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal twelve (12) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements + Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders + Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job + Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines + Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner •Other Job Requirements•+ Prior experience with FEL 2 (Concept/Select) through FEL 3 (Define) for like projects + Experience with the Metals & Mining projects + Experience coordinating and driving multi‑disciplinary teams (process, mechanical, electrical, civil, environmental, permitting, commercial) to deliver investment‑grade packages ready for final investment decision (FID) to EPC handoff + Participate in Fluor University courses for continued learning experiences + Utilize Knowledge Management processes to capture, support and leverage relevant knowledge to enhance project execution + Support the project by providing an environment for the development and professional advancement of project personnel, including providing on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities + Participate in sales and marketing efforts as requested •Preferred Qualifications•+ Jobsite experience and understanding of construction safety program + Requires six (6) years of experience as project engineer or project specialist, or a project role of significant capacity such as project controls lead, contracts lead, etc.

- Estimating process and planning

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
