Job Description

Job Summary The Punch Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the final repair process required to close homes. This role works directly with construction and field managers to gather detailed information on outstanding items/repairs. Once the information is received, the Punch Coordinator reviews the scope of work, creates accurate work orders, and schedules the necessary repairs to ensure completion by the customer's requested deadline. Strong communication, organizational, and scheduling skills are essential for success in this role. The position requires an experienced coordinator with a thorough knowledge and understanding of building project management, along with a proven track record of success. Additionally, experience with industry-related software and builder/vendor portals is necessary (e.g., BuildPro/SupplyPro, SchedulePro, RFMS, etc.). Ideal candidates should possess experience or interest in homebuilding, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills—all underpinned by a proactive, customer-service-driven mindset.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate Repair Scheduling:
Collaborate with builders and field managers to efficiently schedule flooring and tile repairs, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
Repair Quoting and Payment Follow-Up:
Prepare and provide accurate quotes for billable repairs to customers, and proactively follow up to ensure timely approval and payment.
Lot Folder Maintenance:
Maintain organized and up-to-date lot folders containing all pertinent information related to each project.
Job Monitoring:
Track all punch jobs through to completion, ensuring service commitments and deadlines are met.
Backcharge Management:
Issue backcharges when installers fail to meet deadlines or complete repairs to standard, ensuring accountability and accurate cost tracking.
Relationship Management:
Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Installer Communication & Support:
Serve as a primary point of contact for installers—clearly communicating scopes of work and managing questions, concerns, or escalations to ensure timely, accurate job completion.

Previous experience in the construction industry required.
