Commercial Site Development ProjectsPosition Overview:
Lead and deliver complex commercial site development and civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Senior Project Manager will own project delivery for grading, earthwork, water, utilities, and sewer components, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate design and construction teams, ensure regulatory compliance and quality, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of civil and site development projects, including preconstruction, planning, permitting, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

Develop, maintain, and forecast project schedules and budgets; manage cost control, change orders, and contract administration.

Oversee grading, earthwork, drainage, water, sewer, and utility installations to ensure work is executed per design, specifications, and safety standards.

Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.

Prepare and review construction submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements; coordinate inspections and address corrective actions.

Implement and enforce site safety, quality assurance/quality control, and environmental protection programs.

Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and develop contingency plans to maintain schedule and budget.

Provide regular status reports to executive leadership and clients, including progress, forecasts, and key metrics.

Mentor and lead project staff and construction teams; promote professional development and best practices across projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree or technical equivalent is a plus.8+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial site development, civil construction, or heavy civil projects.

Demonstrated experience managing grading, earthwork, drainage, water, utilities, and sewer scope on commercial projects.

Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget, with strong cost control and scheduling skills.

Experience with contract administration, procurement, and subcontractor management.

Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore or similar).Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.se.
