OVERVIEW
The Senior Project Manager leads complex technology projects within the EIT department, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget. The role requires collaboration with business partners, technical teams, and vendors to deliver solutions that support TeamHealth's goals. This position is to be hybrid. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Tennessee or surrounding states.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale IT projects (application development, system implementations, integrations) Coordinates with leadership and stakeholders to ensure project alignment, prioritization and execution Partners closely with solutions delivery leader to execute project methodology Defines project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria Develops and maintains project schedules, resource plans, communication plans and status reporting Assists with budgeting and forecasting Manages project constraints for scope, schedule, budget and resources Secures resource commitments and defines team roles Communicates clearly with all stakeholders Liaise between IT, business units, and external vendor partners Facilitates meetings, discussions, and presentations to support governance structure Applies change management and group facilitation skills Maintains knowledge of key TeamHealth applications and processes Assures all necessary project documentation is created and maintained, as needed for audit and compliance controls Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field PMP or equivalent required 7+ years of recent IT project management experience (3+ years at enterprise/cross-functional level) Strong background in IT solutions delivery, application development, or enterprise system implementation MS Project/Smartsheet, Visio, and collaborative technologies Experience with SaaS applications and integrations preferred Agile certifications preferred Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services) preferred Technical writing, software development, QA, or business analysis experience a plus Ability to manage without authority and work with senior leaders Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
