Job Description
Synergy Design Group is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the execution of custom trade show exhibits, brand activations, and experiential environments. This role is execution-focused and hands-on , designed for someone early in their project management career who is ready to learn how real-world projects move from internal handoff through fabrication, installation, show site, and closeout. The Junior Project Manager works under the guidance of the Client Journey Manager and is expected to take ownership of assigned tasks, follow through with accountability, and grow into increased responsibility over time. What You'll Do Support multiple live events, exhibits, and experiential projects simultaneously Assist Project Managers with execution from internal kickoff through post-show Track schedules, milestones, and deliverables Coordinate internal communication between Design, Production, Fabrication, Warehouse, and Install teams Assist with drawings, production files, and project documentation Support logistics, shipping, and install/dismantle coordination as directed Participate in install prep and show site support when needed Track action items, risks, and next steps to keep projects moving What Success Looks Like Projects move forward with fewer last-minute issues Project Managers trust you to own tasks and follow through Internal teams have the information they need, when they need it Documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date You steadily take on more responsibility and ownership Required Experience 1-3 years of experience in events, exhibits, production, fabrication, logistics, operations, or project coordination Strong organizational and time-management skills High attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Clear, direct, and professional communication skills Preferred (But Not Required) Exposure to trade shows, exhibits, experiential marketing, or live environments Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools Willingness to travel occasionally for installs or events Why Synergy Design Group Synergy Design Group builds custom environments and experiences that bring brands to life.
