Job Description
PROJECT MANAGER SCORECARD FUNCTION
Protomet is seeking a talented and proactive Project Manager to own the supply chain processes of getting new products into our production lines and out during obsolesces. In this role you will need to align objectives across departments. Strong relational skills, high follow through, ability to learn systems quickly and a forward-thinking mindset is essential for success in this role.OUTCOMES
Set up new projects with new ID's, Vendors, ROP's and lot sizes Support the engineering team's supply chain needs during the prototype process Proactively ensure high risk vendors provide product ordered inbound within requirements Inform buyers of project updates and pertinent information for projects Adjust remaining product from the prototype process into the ERP system (Acumatica) Review sources for projects and propose new sources when cost-savings are available Ramp down projects during the obsolesces phase Build a system for long term scrap and warranty partsCOMPETENCIES
