Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for running the Special Projects business unit, including, but not limited to, obtaining new clients, maintaining existing clients, writing proposals, performing estimates, and closing out a project. The PM is responsible for operating a profitable business unit. The PM will pursue new business, respond/follow existing clients, manage and control their projects including the estimating function, overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality of work, and subcontractor and supplier coordination and works in conjunction with the Regional VP. Job Requirements include : Minimum High School with completion of Vocational School, College degree preferred; 8 to 10 years related experience or an equivalent role, with well-rounded expertise across all areas of commercial construction; experience in both commercial and industrial projects is preferred. Familiar with construction management and business software such as, MS Project, Word, Excel, Sure-Trak, AutoCAD, a plus for use with scheduling, spreadsheets, and cost control; Proficient in understanding building plans and specifications; Supervision Level Representative of Rose Construction and as such must be professional with effective communications at all times; Value Engineering and life cycle costing; Team player with field supervision, project management and company administration staff; Safety standards knowledge and enforcement; Ability to remain calm, focused and effective under time pressure situations; Self-starter with ability to set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills.

From $80,000.00 per year
