As a Project Manager at Verdantas, you will play a crucial role in managing multidisciplinary teams on a number of fast-paced diverse projects supporting environmental assessment, remediation, and restoration efforts. You will have the opportunity to oversee and coordinate all phases of projects while maintaining a technical role on the project team. Project experience will include scoping, and reporting for environmental site investigation, remediation planning design, and implementation, and regulatory compliance activities. Responsibilities:
Understand, protect and promote our empathetic, people-focused culture in all aspects of the business. Understand and implement complex technical requirements for client projects to meet client satisfaction and ensure projects are delivered safely and within scope, schedule and budget Serve as an inter-disciplinary team member in meetings and communications with clients pertaining to specific projects/tasks Lead a culture of safety within the project team or unit, including following safety protocols for all projects Develop and maintain client relationships for projects under management Lead selling and cross-selling efforts; (Geotech, Environmental Resources, Landfill, Civil, Process Design, and Digital Solutions) Lead in the development of strategy, scope of work, and budget for projects Track work progress relative to project schedules and budgets and actively manage project performance metrics Supervise and provide work assignments to the project team Prepare, provide technical input, and/or review reports Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards Interact with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client review. Plan and execute own work tasks, as well as oversee tasks of team members, to meet project deadlines Solve problems creatively and effectively and make informed decisions Collaborate across multiple disciplines and with clients to articulate and achieve project goals Mentor staff in required technical skills Communicate effectively and proactively with management, peers, and clients Complete tasks efficiently and within the allowed budget Possess detailed knowledge of regulations in the area of practice Motivate and encourage others and help the team achieve success
Qualifications:
Servant leadership approach to the business - leading by example Empathy and understanding while maintaining technical and client service excellence A team builder, encourager and willing mentor Proven ability to build strong partnerships and relationships both internally and externally Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geology/Hydrogeology from an accredited institution Professional Licensure preferred, but not required Minimum of 10 years of experience within environmental consulting An outstanding track record for client management and technical leadership Experience applying federal and state environmental regulations Must possess a valid driver's license
Salary Range:
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications of the candidate as it relates to the position description
