Job Description
Five Star Homes is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing schedules, subcontractors, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage construction projects from pre-construction to final completion Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal team members Ensure projects comply with building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations Conduct regular site visits and monitor project progress Resolve jobsite issues quickly and efficiently Review blueprints, contracts, change orders, and project documents Maintain clear communication with clients, property owners, and leadership Prepare progress reports and updates for management Ensure projects are delivered on time Qualifications Experience in construction project management preferred Residential and/or commercial construction experience Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Proficiency with project management software and Excel Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Valid driver's license and reliable transportation OSHA certification or construction safety knowledge is a plus Required Skills Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Project planning & scheduling Problem solving skills & decision making skills Quality Control Skills Experience working with subcontractors and local permitting processes Team Leader experience Ability to work under pressure & meet project deadlines Working Conditions Mix of office & field walk throughs Ability to work under pressure & meet project deadlines Benefits Competitive pay Performance bonuses Company vehicle to use during business hours Paid time off Growth opportunities within the company Supportive and team-oriented work environment About Five Star Homes Five Star Homes is a growing residential construction company focused on delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects.
