Program Manager 11

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reports to the appropriate XPS General Manager or the appropriate XPS Program Director.
• Ensures effective and efficient management of all projects assigned.
• Advises the General Manager or XPS Program Director on current issues and suggested solutions.
• Works with XPS customers and sub-contractors to develop project cost, schedule, and performance criteria.
• Drafts proposed external contract sections and incorporates agreed changes.
• Manages cost, schedule, and contractual performance of assigned XPS projects.
• Reports project progress to XPS President, General Manager, Project Director, and Accountant during scheduled Project Management Reviews (PMR's) as required.
• Identifies project progress issues in a timely manner and resolves them at the lowest practical and appropriate levels.
• Maintains appropriate, adequate, and accurate project documentation as required.
• Provides XPS Accountant with appropriate billing schedules and assist with billing/invoice requirements, language, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Verifies receipt of project payments with XPS Accountant.
• Manages appropriate sub-contractor payments, including prior validation of charges.
• Maintain external customer satisfaction and addresses appropriate customer issues.
• Periodically reviews appropriate processes for applicability and efficiency.
• Conducts business development functions for new and repeat business.

Must have aviation experience. Whether as a lead Mechanic, Project manager, or military procurement experience. Must pay attention to detail and we able to work with limited manager oversight.

Experience Required:

Military, Helicopter Maintenance (plus), Civilian Avionics (must), FAA regulations (must), Test Pilot (would be plus), HANDS ON A&P, Must be able to read Schematics, Understand electrical drawings, program management experience, pay close attention to details.
