This is not a desk-only role — you'll have real ownership over projects, people, and outcomes. Why This Role Stands Out Lead projects with full ownership — execution, budget, and quality Clear path to Electrical Department Manager Strong backlog of work and established customer base Company vehicle + training investment Direct access to leadership — your input matters Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution Plan, schedule, and manage residential and commercial electrical projects Assign crews and ensure jobs stay on track Proactively solve field issues (permits, inspections, scope changes) Conduct regular jobsite visits to ensure progress, quality, and safety Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop foremen and electricians Set expectations and hold team members accountable Build a strong, team-first culture Client & Contractor Communication Serve as the main point of contact for customers, GCs, and other trades Provide updates on timelines, inspections, and progress Resolve issues professionally and protect company reputation Budget & Documentation Manage job costs, labor efficiency, and materials Handle change orders and ensure proper approvals Maintain accurate documentation (plans, reports, closeouts) Safety Enforce all safety standards and procedures Conduct field audits and correct unsafe conditions immediately Exercise stop-work authority when necessary QualificationsRequired Active Texas Electrical License (TDLR) Experience in residential & commercial electrical work Leadership experience (Foreman, Lead Electrician, or PM) Strong knowledge of NEC code Ability to read plans and specifications Experience with project management tools/software Valid driver's license + clean record Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred Master Electrician License Commercial project management experience Experience with job costing, budgeting, and change orders Experience developing and leading teams What Success Looks Like Projects completed on time, on budget, and code-compliant Strong relationships with customers and contractors Organized documentation and smooth project closeouts A growing, improving team under your leadership Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Company vehicle Health insurance, retirement plan, and PTO Tool allowance + ongoing training Performance bonuses tied to results Advancement to
