We are open to candidates traveling to or relocating to any of these projects and can start you right away. What You'll DoLead mechanical scope execution for data center projects, including cooling systems, piping, equipment installation, and critical infrastructure upgrades.
Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and resource planning from kickoff through commissioning.
Coordinate with design engineers, BIM/VDC teams, and trade partners to ensure constructability and alignment with project requirements.
Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs to maintain technical accuracy and compliance.
Oversee installation quality, safety performance, and adherence to mechanical standards and owner requirements.
Facilitate weekly project meetings, track progress, and resolve issues that impact the schedule or cost.
Maintain strong communication with clients, providing updates, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.
Support commissioning activities, system testing, and turnover documentation.
Drive continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and field execution.
Skills & Experience Required5+ years of mechanical project management experience, preferably in mission-critical or data center environments.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, CRAH/CRAC units, piping systems, and mechanical equipment installation.
Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and procurement for complex mechanical scopes.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet), Microsoft Office, and construction documentation platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
