Job Description
As a Senior Project Manager in our Buildings & Infrastructure practice, you'll lead the delivery of complex, high-impact projects that shape communities across Texas. You'll bring together multi-disciplinary teams, drive client success, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and to Jacobs' high standards of quality and innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead the full lifecycle delivery of projects from planning and design through construction and closeout Serve as the primary client point of contact, building strong, trusted relationships Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure successful outcomes Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams (architecture, engineering, and specialty consultants) Drive project execution strategies, staffing plans, and resource allocation Oversee quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes and ensure compliance with Jacobs standards Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, reporting, and change management Support business development, including proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations Mentor and develop project managers and junior staff Ensure alignment with sustainability goals, safety practices, and regulatory requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field 12+ years of experience managing complex A/E or infrastructure projects Demonstrated success leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and projects Strong understanding of project management principles, contracts, and delivery methods (e.g., Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build) Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ideally you'll also have: Professional licensure (RA, PE, PMP, or CCM) strongly preferred Experience in sectors such as commercial, civic, healthcare, higher education, or science & technology Familiarity with sustainable design and construction practices (LEED or similar) Experience working in a global or matrixed organization Established client relationships in the Austin or Central Texas market Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
