Junior Project Manager

NES Fircroft is hiring a Junior Project Manager to support a power generation company in North Houston. This role is a good fit for someone with up to 5 years of experience who is ready to move into their first project management role. This person will support projects involving power generation equipment, turbomachinery packages, mechanical/electrical systems, vendors, and internal project teams.

Responsibilities:

Support project schedules, timelines, and deliverables Coordinate with engineering, procurement, vendors, shop, and field teams Track materials, equipment, documentation, and action items Follow up with vendors and internal teams to keep projects moving Assist with customer updates, meeting notes, and project reporting Help identify schedule, cost, or delivery concerns early Support project closeout and handover documentation

Requirements:

Up to 5 years of project coordination, project engineering, operations, manufacturing, or related project support experience Interest in growing into a project management role Power generation, industrial, manufacturing, EPC, mechanical, or electrical experience preferred Strong organization, communication, and follow-up skills Comfortable working with schedules, trackers, and project documents Ability to work with vendors, customers, and internal project teams Proficient with Microsoft Office; MS Project or similar tools preferred
