Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Production Clerk is responsible for performing day-to-day clerical and system transactions to support production, shipping, and inventory operations. This role ensures accurate data entry, documentation, and coordination with various departments to maintain smooth production and shipping workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Factory Track transactions accurately and efficiently. Pick, pack, and ship customer orders using CSI (CloudSuite Industrial) system. Generate shipping documentation, including labels and Bills of Lading (BOLs). Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues. Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and assist with reconciliation of inventory discrepancies. Place stock purchase orders as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels. Collaborate with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Maintain organized and up-to-date files for shipping, receiving, and production records. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production and shipping departments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Forklift certification or be able to drive and get certified
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production setting. May require standing or walking for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
