Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil and underground utility projects from initial planning through final closeout. This position requires strong coordination skills, a solid understanding of construction practices, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and field activities across multiple active sites.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate day-to-day project activities, ensuring alignment with safety guidelines, production goals, and client expectations.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, logs, schedules, and compliance paperwork.

Conduct field walkthroughs, ensuring crews, subcontractors, and vendors follow job requirements and established procedures.

Support planning and execution of project work by organizing resources, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks or delays.

Communicate regularly with internal teams, leadership, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues as they arise.

Assist with bid preparation, estimating activities, and reviewing scopes of work where applicable.

Monitor project costs, materials, and labor usage to support accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
Background in civil construction, underground utilities, roadway, site development, or a related discipline.

Proven experience managing projects from planning through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.

Ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across field teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.

Proficiency with construction software, scheduling tools, and standard office applications.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with the capability to manage multiple projects at once.

Experience with RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and contract administration.

Site visit and field coordination experience is required; ability to travel between project locations as needed.
