STV is seeking a BIM Specialist with 2-3 years of professional experience and demonstrated 4D (schedule-linked model) expertise to support planning, coordination, and visualization efforts on complex building projects for our Advisory department in Dallas, TX. This role will work closely with project managers, schedulers, construction teams, and design partners to develop, maintain, and leverage BIM models—specifically 4D simulations—to improve constructability, sequencing, and project outcomes. This position is ideal for a technically strong BIM professional looking to grow within a collaborative project delivery environment. Key Responsibilities BIM Modeling & Coordination Develop, maintain, and update BIM models in Revit and related platforms to support construction planning and execution Assist with model coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews in coordination with design and construction teams Support project teams with model-based problem solving and visualization 4D BIM & Scheduling Integration Create and manage 4D BIM simulations by linking BIM models with project schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) Support construction sequencing, logistics planning, and phasing strategies through visual simulation Assist with schedule-based analysis to identify conflicts, risks, and optimization opportunities Project Support & Collaboration Collaborate with project managers, schedulers, superintendents, and designers to align BIM deliverables with project needs Prepare model views, animations, and visualizations for internal reviews, client presentations, and construction planning meetings Support BIM execution plans (BEPs) and model standards across projects Data, Standards & Quality Maintain model accuracy, organization, and data integrity in accordance with established BIM standards Assist with model handoffs, file management, and documentation Stay current on BIM workflows, tools, and emerging 4D best practices Required Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in a BIM or Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) role Working experience with 4D BIM, including linking models to construction schedules Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Experience with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks Manage (or similar) Understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to work on-site or hybrid in the Dallas, TX area Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling tools Experience in commercial, mission-critical, healthcare, aviation, or large-scale construction projects Exposure to VDC workflows, clash detection, and construction logistics modeling Basic knowledge of Dynamo, automation tools, or data-driven BIM workflows (a plus, not required)
Compensation Range:
