Project Manager Pools by Design - 3.7 Dallas, TX Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $80,000 a year 14 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Spanish Customer communication Construction specifications Construction management software English Driver's License Construction drawing review Attention to detail Problem-solving Managing projects Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee high-end residential pool construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. This role requires a strong background in luxury outdoor construction, exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a client-facing environment, communicates effectively with homeowners, designers, and subcontractors, and maintains meticulous project documentation throughout all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities Project Management Manage multiple high-end pool and outdoor living projects simultaneously Oversee all phases of construction from excavation to final walkthrough Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure schedule adherence Maintain project timelines and proactively address delays or issues Client Experience Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project Provide consistent, proactive communication and updates Deliver a white-glove, luxury-level customer experience Address client questions, concerns, and change requests with professionalism Documentation & Reporting Document daily/weekly job progress with photos, notes, and reports Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, selections, and change orders Track budgets, costs, and material usage Ensure all documentation is organized and accessible for internal teams Quality Control Ensure all work meets company standards, design intent, and local codes Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality craftsmanship Identify and resolve construction issues before they escalate Team & Vendor Coordination Work closely with design & sales, Scheduler and operations staff Manage subcontractors to align with project timelines Build and maintain strong relationships with trusted trade partners Qualifications 5+ years of construction project management experience (pool or high-end residential preferred) Proven experience with luxury or custom outdoor projects Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and sequencing Exceptional customer service and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Experience documenting projects (photos, logs, progress tracking tools) Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proficient with project management software and digital documentation tools (Builder Trend preferred) Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites Preferred Qualifications Experience specifically in pool construction or outdoor living environments Familiarity with high-end finishes, materials, and custom features Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
