Project Manager ■ Dallas, TX 1099 Contractor Operations
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Experts is a fast-growing remodeling company serving homeowners across the Dallas area. We handle kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and full interior remodels. We're looking for a driven Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of our projects — from signed contract to final walkthrough — ensuring every job is delivered on time, on budget, and to our quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
› Manage multiple active remodel projects simultaneously from kickoff through completion › Coordinate scheduling for subcontractors, material deliveries, and inspections › Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners — providing clear, proactive updates throughout › Conduct site visits to monitor quality, workmanship, and progress against scope › Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep projects on schedule › Track project budgets and flag cost variances early › Ensure all work meets local code requirements and company quality standards › Coordinate with the sales team at handoff to align on scope and client expectations › Keep project documentation and status updates current in our systems
REQUIREMENTS
› 3+ years of project management experience in residential construction or remodeling › Proven ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors at the same time › Strong communication skills — comfortable with homeowners and trade crews alike › Solid understanding of residential remodeling processes, timelines, and materials › Highly organized with strong attention to detail › Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits › Able to operate independently as a 1099 contractor (responsible for own taxes)
NICE TO HAVE
› Experience across multiple trade types — kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, tile › Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus › Familiarity with Dallas/Fort Worth permitting and inspection processes
COMPENSATION
Weekly Rate $1,000 / week 1099 independent contractor Bonuses Per completed job Paid at project closeout › Flexible schedule — you manage your time around your projects › Bonus paid for every successfully completed project › Room to grow as the company scales — high performers take on more volume
