Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a growing retail program across Texas. In this role, you'll deliver end-to-end project management services, guiding multiple small-format retail projects from initial concept through grand opening. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, construction partners, landlords, and local authorities to keep projects aligned with business goals, brand standards, and aggressive timelines. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, is comfortable working independently, and enjoys being the trusted go-to for clients. You'll juggle multiple projects, manage budgets and schedules, and navigate real-world retail challenges like seasonal demands, operational constraints, and accelerated construction schedules — all while keeping quality and consistency front and center.
Day-to-Day:
  •  Manage retail construction projects from early concept through grand opening, owning planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  •  Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, vendors, landlords, and client stakeholders to keep projects moving
  •  Balance construction activity with ongoing retail operations, keeping store teams and customer experience top of mind
  •  Navigate retail-specific challenges such as seasonal timelines, merchandising schedules, accelerated builds, and quick turnarounds
  •  Lead project teams through tight schedules, night/weekend work, and occupied renovations when needed
  •  Track and report project status, budgets, and risks using Smartsheet and Excel
  •  Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the client, building trust and maintaining strong working relationships

  •  Senior Project Manager with 5+ years' experience
  •  Retail project management experience, ideally small-format retail, or QSR (quick service restaurant)
  •  Strong client and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate hands-off and independently
  •  Experience managing multiple concurrent projects (8+ annually)
  •  Smartsheets & Excel experience
  • using excel for ACRs, budgets, schedules, reporting
  •  Experience delivering new store or ground-up retail programs
  •  Background acting as a client relationship manager or primary client contact
  •  Comfort working in fast-paced, quick-turn construction environments
