Job Description

CAD Draftsperson / Project Coordinator Dallas, Texas (In-Office) Position Summary Mobile Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Draftsperson to join our Dallas office. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings for a wide variety of waterproofing systems, as well as developing and maintaining an in-house library of standard detail drawings. This position works closely with project managers, field personnel, manufacturers, and general contractors to ensure accurate and timely project documentation. It offers a unique opportunity to develop both technical drafting and construction project management skills while working alongside some of the industry's most experienced waterproofing professionals. This is an in-office position with a clear career path toward Project Engineer and Project Manager roles. Responsibilities Prepare detailed CAD shop drawings for waterproofing & concrete repair systems. Develop project-specific installation details based on contract documents, manufacturer requirements, and field conditions. Create and maintain an in-house library of standard waterproofing details and drawing templates. Produce accurate as-built drawings documenting completed work and field modifications. Coordinate with project managers and field supervisors to verify dimensions, layouts, and installation conditions. Incorporate engineer and architect review comments into revised drawing packages. Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and project documentation. Assist project managers with project documentation, submittals, and closeout packages as needed. Qualifications Required Proficiency in AutoCAD. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Preferred Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience preparing shop drawings within the construction industry. Experience with Bluebeam Revu and PDF document management. Familiarity with waterproofing, concrete restoration, building envelope, or specialty construction systems. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary range: Fifty Thousand Dollars to Seventy Thousand Dollars annually, depending on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated technical proficiency.
