This is a great opportunity for someone who has a mix of customer service, sales support, project coordination, technical design, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, estimating, electrical, or lighting industry experience.
Pay:
$28/hour - Potential commission and monthly bonus opportunity This role supports customers through the full lighting selection and order process — from helping with product recommendations and specifications to supporting lighting designs, quotes, substitutions, and order fulfillment. The company is willing to train someone who has the right technical foundation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn lighting design. What You'll Do Assist customers with commercial lighting selections, specifications, and product solutions Create and support lighting designs for different client projects Manage full-cycle order fulfillment from quote through delivery Help with product cross-referencing, substitutions, and technical product comparisons Review project details, specifications, drawings, and customer requirements Support project estimation, material take-offs, and product recommendations Work with internal team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations Maintain accurate documentation, order details, quote information, and project notes Learn lighting design concepts, technical systems, and industry-specific software What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of sales, customer service, project coordination, estimating, design support, or technical support experience Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, 3D modeling, or architectural/design software is strongly preferred Ability to read or understand drawings, layouts, specifications, or project details Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once Strong customer service and communication skills Problem-solving ability and willingness to learn technical product information Electrical knowledge, lighting experience, or hands-on electrical experience is a plus Project estimation, material take-off, or building code knowledge is a plus Helpful Software Experience Experience with any of the following is helpful, but not all are required: AutoCAD, Revit, AGi32, DIALux, Blender, FormZ, Maya, Rhino, 3D modeling software, architectural modeling software, lighting design software Work Environment Fast-paced, team-oriented commercial lighting environment Hands-on training and on-the-job education provided Opportunity to grow within the lighting and electrical industry Potential for commission and monthly bonuses Day shift schedule Ideal Backgrounds Lighting design assistant, AutoCAD designer, project coordinator, sales support specialist, electrical estimator, lighting estimator, architectural design assistant, customer service representative with technical product experience, electrical supply, commercial lighting, construction materials, design support, or 3D modeling experience.
