Position:
The Deputy Project Manager (DPM) works closely with the Project Manager (PM) to ensure the efficient and effective execution of the contract. The Deputy Project Manager acts on behalf of the PM, in their absence, to achieve cost, schedule and performance goals. Serve as the secondary point of contact with the government and manage operations at the installation level. Attend briefings, conferences, and other government designated meetings as required in the execution of this effort or as requested by the COR, in the absence of the PM. Support the PM in daily responsibilities of keeping contract ran smoothly. Synchronize staff and provide direction a needed. Participate in recruitment and dismissal process. Perform PM job duties in the event of the PM's absence. All other relevant duties as assigned. Physical Demands Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment • Noise level can range from minimal to intense. Minimum Qualifications Proficient in using MS Windows and MS Word/Excel Applications. Must have general supervisory experience. Must be familiar with supply asset management and maintenance management procedures. Must have experience in Theater-level asset management, or Corps-level supply, maintenance, or asset management. Must have experience with financial management and knowledge of Standard Army Management Systems (STAMIS) Must be familiar with and understand ISO and quality management system program level functions. Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Must have strong organizational and group presentation skills. Well-developed multi-tasking and time management skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Valid driver's license and ability to maintain post driving privileges. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Security Requirements Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a CAC, to include network access. Must have an active security clearance or be able to obtain an interim Secret clearance within a short amount of time.Job Type:
