Job Description

Assistant Project Manager (Onsite - Haskell, TX) Overview We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, estimation, and execution of construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Support project management activities across pre-construction and execution phases Review construction drawings and assist with bid preparation and cost estimation Coordinate with subcontractors to gather pricing and project information Assist in developing and tracking project budgets, schedules, and deliverables Maintain project schedules by monitoring progress and resolving issues Prepare status reports, analyze project data, and recommend actions Support monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reporting Travel to job sites as needed to assess progress and address challenges Update and maintain project documentation and systems Assist with client communication and respond to inquiries Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience 2+ years of construction experience in MEP, mechanical, or commercial preferred Exposure to construction management, estimating, or project engineering Ability to support projects up to $2.5M Additional Skills & Experience Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Working knowledge of project budgeting and cost estimation Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Office Suite Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Work Environment & Compensation
  • Onsite role based in Haskell, Texas. A monthly per diem of $3,400 is provided for eligible candidates.
  • Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $47.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
