Position Overview The Field Project Manager is responsible for managing and inspecting all aspects of assigned projects in the field. This includes overseeing Apex team members, subcontractors, vendors/suppliers, inspectors, and other stakeholders. The Field Project Manager ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality expectations, while maintaining clear communication with internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities Contribute to project planning, including setting objectives, performance expectations, and timelines Coordinate optimal use of labor, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment Ensure timely delivery and availability of all necessary materials and equipment on site Enforce all company and OSHA safety standards among on-site stakeholders Lead successful execution of construction rollouts Oversee project closeout procedures and ensure proper documentation is completed Track daily progress against the established project plan and provide regular updates Conduct and manage pre-construction/installation meetings Implement and oversee construction/installation guidelines throughout the project lifecycle Address and resolve issues or inquiries in a timely and professional manner Review and refine quality processes to ensure client satisfaction Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to drive productivity and profitability Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables Support change management processes related to scope adjustments Identify potential disputes or claims related to project design or execution and mitigate risk Ensure compliance with all required permits and regulatory guidelines Travel Requirements This is a travel-intensive role. Field Project Managers are expected to travel frequently to project sites across the region, often on short notice. Candidates must be comfortable with a dynamic schedule and have the flexibility to travel as needed. Requirements & Qualifications Strong technical knowledge of construction and field operations In-depth understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and permitting processes Proven leadership and team management capabilities Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask effectively Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills Client-facing confidence and effective teamwork skills Familiarity with risk management and quality control practices Solid math and analytical skills Assertiveness and accountability in high-pressure environments
