Job Description:
Residential Restoration/Reconstruction Project Manager BMS CAT | Fort Worth, TX BMS CAT is a trusted leader in disaster restoration and reconstruction. Since 1948, we have helped clients recover from unexpected property losses, from initial clean-up through complete rebuilds. We support residential losses of all sizes as well as complex, multi-million-dollar commercial projects. Our team moves with urgency, takes ownership, and cares deeply about delivering quality work when customers need us most. We are hiring a Residential Restoration/Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee residential rebuild projects in the Fort Worth market. This is not standard new construction. Our projects are often the result of water, fire, mold, storm, and other property losses, which means every job is different. This role is ideal for someone who can manage the details, communicate with care, and drive projects forward with speed, quality, and accountability.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage residential reconstruction projects from job walk through completion
  • Build schedules, coordinate trades, and keep projects moving forward
  • Partner with subcontractors, in-house craftsmen, homeowners, insurance adjusters, and internal teams
  • Review scopes, budgets, change orders, job costs, and gross margin performance
  • Manage multiple active projects in different phases of reconstruction
  • Conduct jobsite walks, monitor quality, complete punch lists, and ensure work meets BMS CAT standards
  • Protect profitability through strong vendor management, cost control, documentation, and change order discipline
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners throughout the rebuild process
What We're Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Supervisor, or similar role in residential reconstruction, insurance repair, remodeling, restoration, or construction
  • Experience managing multiple projects at one time
  • Strong understanding of residential building systems, including framing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, roofing, cabinetry, and finish trades
  • Ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, jobsite quality, punch-out, and customer expectations
  • Experience managing job-level financials, including budgets, actual costs, gross margin, and change orders
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Professional, customer-facing communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a strong driving record
Preferred Experience:
  • Xactimate experience
  • Insurance restoration, TPA, carrier, or adjuster-facing project experience
  • Experience with time and material work
  • Contractor's license or relevant construction certifications
  • Background managing 10+ active residential reconstruction projects
Compensation and Benefits:
This role offers a base salary plus commission opportunities based on profitability. Compensation will vary based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
