Summary The Project Planning Coordinator (Data Focus) is responsible for forecasting, planning, and coordinating maintenance and construction data flows for a specified area, while maintaining relationships with Information Technology (IT), Maintenance and Construction (M&C), the Project Management Office (PMO), and Design and Construction Services to meet customer and client service dates. A key focus of this position is the ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights and clearly communicate the story behind the data to drive informed decision-making, improve cross-functional collaboration, and support efficient delivery of Serve New and Growth Strategy initiatives. Key Roles and Responsibilities Develops and communicates clear data narratives (the story behind the data) to support decision-making. Creates high-level summaries and executive-ready insights that make data relatable to business teams. Forecasts, plans, and coordinates Distribution Serve New activities and forecasts. Forecasts resources and location counts to maintain an even and efficient workforce during periods of fluctuating workload. Effectively responds to change and adjusts priorities on short notice. Establishes trust, exhibits commitment, and builds and maintains relationships to achieve goals. Communicates forecast and planning needs to the Supply Chain group on a regular basis. Facilitates cross-functional team communications to resolve program and project issues. Develops, applies, and maintains a high level of project management standards. Anticipates potential risks and documents contingency plans to mitigate risk. Develops and provides reports on project status and performance metrics. Interfaces between Distribution Services, Asset Management, the Project Management Office (PMO), Project Management and Design Services (PMDS), and Electric Operations. Identifies and implements process improvement measures to improve efficiencies. Promotes and actively participates in safe work practices. Clearly and concisely expresses ideas and concepts in individual and group settings. Adheres to Distribution Operations processes. Demonstrates the ability to create high-level summaries and provide meaningful and actionable insights from large data sets. Demonstrates the ability to make large data sets relatable and meaningful to business operations teams. Skills Strong analytical skills with ability to turn data into insights. Ability to tell a compelling story with data. Ability to analyze data and query reports using Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python, and to produce and present applicable information using tools such as Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to perform responsibilities with limited supervision. Strong knowledge of Distribution Information Systems (DIS), Customer Information Systems (CIS), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), iDispatch, and Microsoft Office tools. Demonstrated ability to manage projects to successful and timely completion. Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitive and intense situations. Demonstrated ability to use innovation in problem solving. Demonstrated ability to improve the efficiency of work processes. Proven ability to identify and resolve potential project issues in a proactive manner. Ability to make presentations to small and large groups. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of internal and external team members. Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, with 10 or more years of related experience is required. In lieu of the above criteria, a Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a focus in Project Management or Engineering, with 4 or more years of related experience will be considered.
