BESS Construction Locations:
Grand Praire, TX or Waco, TX or Temple, TX Long-Term Contract Opportunity •Per diem for non-local candidates We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the execution of large-scale Data Center and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction projects. This role will be responsible for overseeing project planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and execution while working closely with field leadership, engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical construction background and experience managing medium-voltage infrastructure, mission-critical facilities, utility construction, or renewable energy project s. Key Responsibilit iesProject Planning & Execut ionDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and project deliverabl es.

Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activiti es.

Review technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure project alignme nt.

Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, delays, and mitigation strategi es. Technical & Construction Overs ightOversee installation activities involving medium-voltage electrical systems and associated infrastruct ure.

Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and project specificati ons.

Support construction teams with technical problem-solving and field coordinat ion.

Review civil, electrical, and structural drawings to ensure constructability and execution succ ess. Stakeholder & Team Manag ementServe as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project t eams.

Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, budget, safety, and quality perform ance.

Collaborate closely with field supervision to maintain project milestones and productivity g oals. Financial & Quality Mana gementDevelop project startup documentation and project bu dgets.

Track project KPIs including schedule adherence, cost performance, quality metrics, and safety objec tives.

Manage change orders, forecasting, risk management, and issue resolution throughout the project life cycle. Required Qualifi cations5+ years of project management experience supporting electrical construction, utility, renewable energy, BESS, or mission-critical pr ojects.

Experience managing medium-voltage electrical infrastructure pr ojects.

Knowledge of underground electrical systems, civil dry utilities, and excavation acti vities.

Experience overseeing electrical duct bank installation, conduit routing, concrete encasement, and utility coordi nation.

Strong understanding of trenching, shoring, soil classification, excavation safety, and OSHA requir ements.

Ability to read and interpret civil, electrical, and structural construction dr awings.

Familiarity with underground utility locating, depth requirements, separation standards, warning tape, tracer wire installation, and backfill requir ements.

Strong knowledge of electrical construction standards and industry best pra ctices.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software pla tforms.

Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
