Full-Time or Contractor Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Smartsheet High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail, retail installation, construction, graphics/signage, service, or related trades Strong understanding of planograms, store layouts, blueprints, and retail floor plans Experience coordinating multiple moving parts in a fast-paced project environment Ability to communicate effectively with clients, crews, subcontractors, and internal departments Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing retail installation and construction projects from kickoff through completion. This role requires strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with Mallard Group standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while building strong relationships with both clients and field teams. Core Responsibilities Promote and model the mission, vision, and culture of Mallard Group Provide project overviews and maintain consistent communication with all project stakeholders Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the Active Projects Sheet Build and maintain strong client relationships while managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle Oversee project reporting processes and ensure timely communication among all stakeholders Conduct daily check-ins with crew leads and support leadership development in the field Submit drivetime and mileage summaries to the Finance Department Review and approve crew member and lead hours in TimeCo Manage company PEX cards responsibly, including: Booking lifts and project equipment Requesting weekly wire expenses Coding transactions weekly Track project timelines, resources, costs, and progress while providing weekly updates Submit weekly Invoice Requests (IRs) to the Finance Department in a timely manner Upload project documentation and progress photos into the Active Projects Sheet Conduct project postmortems and provide final project conclusions Participate in weekly remote Project Manager meetings with the corporate team Organize and lead project-related meetings with crew leads and team members Understand project scope, objectives, and deliverables while coaching and motivating teams Assist in defining project scope, timelines, staffing requirements, and execution strategy Coordinate with recruiting to ensure proper staffing and resource allocation Prepare reports for management, clients, and internal teams Manage and respond to project scope changes or revisions to original specifications Key Objective Successfully manage projects by understanding project requirements, developing effective execution strategies, and ensuring completion on time and within budget while maintaining strong client and team relationships.
