Grand Prairie, TX Job Details Full-time 9 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Managing projects Full Job Description Project Manager Manage all phases of commercial roofing projects, including TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and metal systems Develop detailed project execution plans covering labor, materials, equipment, and sequencing Coordinate field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient job flow Lead project kickoff, pre-construction, progress, and closeout meetings Maintain schedule integrity while proactively resolving conflicts and constraints Financial Management & Budget Control (Key Focus) Own project financial performance from startup to closeout Develop, review, and manage detailed project budgets, including labor productivity, material costs, equipment, and subcontracted work Monitor job cost reports regularly and take immediate corrective action when variances occur Forecast cost-to-complete and project margin accurately throughout the life of the project Manage change order pricing, documentation, negotiation, and tracking with GCs and owners Review and approve vendor invoices to ensure alignment with contract terms and job budgets Partner with accounting to support accurate billing, collections, and timely project cash flow Identify financial risks early and escalate when needed with clear mitigation plans Contract Administration & Risk Management Understand and enforce contract scope, exclusions, and responsibilities Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and GC requirements Protect the company from scope creep, unapproved work, and margin erosion Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and closeout materials Client Communication & Leadership Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, consultants, and inspectors Provide clear, professional communication regarding project status, schedule impacts, cost exposure, and resolution plans Attend jobsite meetings, inspections, and project walks as required Coordinate internally with sales, estimating, service, warehouse, and field teams to ensure alignment Quality Control & Safety Ensure all work meets company standards, manufacturer requirements, and warranty guidelines Conduct jobsite inspections to verify workmanship, safety compliance, and progress Proactively address quality or safety issues before they impact cost, schedule, or client relationships Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times Team Development & Continuous Improvement Support and mentor field supervisors, foremen, and project coordinators Contribute to post-job reviews, estimating feedback, and operational improvements Help develop and reinforce repeatable systems that improve predictability, profitability, and customer satisfaction 3+ years of direct experience managing commercial and multifamily roofing projects (reroof and/or new construction) Proven track record of budget ownership, cost control, and margin management Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, construction sequencing, and labor productivity Ability to read and interpret contracts, plans, specifications, and job cost reports Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites Salesforce Experience NetSuite Experience OSHA 30 preferred
