Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end audiovisual (AV) production for live events. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of AV industry experience, expert knowledge of Vectorworks, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. You will manage pull lists, coordinate gear and crews, and ensure seamless execution from concept to close-out.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Project leadership for live event AV
  • from proposal through post-event wrap-up Define scope, schedule, risk, and budget Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional events Vectorworks proficiency
  • Create and interpret AV layouts, rigging, and stage plots Develop accurate production drawings, floor plans, and rigging calculations Warehouse and logistics oversight
  • Manage equipment inventory, staging, wrapping, and shipping/receiving Maintain accurate asset tracking and preventative maintenance schedules Pull list creation and management
  • Compile accurate pull lists for crews, drivers, and warehouse staff Coordinate build and strike plans, equipment substitutions, and substitutions on-site Travel coordination
  • Plan and manage travel logistics for personnel and gear Ensure compliance with safety, travel, and on-site protocols Understanding of on-site roles
  • Knowledge of Audio 1 and Video 1 positions and their responsibilities on live events Ensure proper staffing, supervision, and performance standards Client and stakeholder communication
  • Provide timely updates, change orders, and post-event reports Build strong client relationships and solicit feedback Safety, QA, and compliance
  • Enforce safety policies, risk assessments, and venue compliance Ensure quality assurance across all production stages Requirements
Experience:
  • 10+ years in the AV field, with a proven track record in live events
Software:
  • Advanced Vectorworks experience; proficiency with related AV and CAD tools is a plus
Operations:
  • Deep understanding of warehouse duties, inventory control, and logistics
Procurement & Planning:
  • Strong pull list development and resource planning capabilities
Travel:
  • Ability and willingness to travel to events (domestic and international as needed)
Roles Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Audio 1 and Video 1 positions and their on-site duties
Leadership:
  • Excellent lead-by-example leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Education:
  • Relevant degree or certifications in AV, event production, or related field are a plus
Physical:
