Lead Project Manager About the Company Farwest Corrosion Control is a leading provider of cathodic protection and corrosion-control solutions supporting critical energy, utility, and infrastructure projects across the U.S. About the Role Farwest Corrosion Control is hiring a highly organized Project Coordinator to support our Houston construction team . This is an onsite, fast-paced administrative and coordination role supporting the Engineering Manager, Construction Superintendent, and Project Managers. This position is ideal for someone with construction industry experience who thrives in a high-pressure environment, excels at organization, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously from job start through close-out. Key Responsibilities Project Setup & Administration Initiate job start packages and obtain job information from Estimating Establish new customer accounts and coordinate credit needs with AP Complete Preliminary Lien Forms and route for submission Enter construction crew timesheets into Smartsheet Maintain document control (digital and hard copy) Client & Internal Coordination Serve as initial point of contact with customers and project stakeholders Communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineering, and Field Crews Provide regular project status updates and internal reporting Submittals & Permitting Prepare and submit project submittals (materials, equipment, resumes, insurance, bonds, etc.) Obtain permits and required site badges Materials & Scheduling Create and track material requisitions in Sage (or ERP system) Track materials and ensure readiness for project start Create and maintain field project binders Project Execution Support Transition projects to Superintendents or Engineering PMs Track progress through all phases Submit RFIs and Change Orders as required Coordinate subcontractor onboarding and compliance Billing & Financial Tracking Assist with invoice preparation and progress billing Review Schedule of Values to align billing Provide billing documentation to Services Admin Track project financials and conduct cost reviews as needed Project Close-Out Prepare close-out packages including as-builts, reports, O&M manuals, and certifications Additional Duties Perform other tasks as assigned by management Required Skills & Qualifications Construction industry experience highly preferred ERP experience (Sage preferred; similar systems acceptable) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong time management and prioritization skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and dependable Why Join Farwest Stable, long-term construction projects High-impact role supporting critical infrastructure Collaborative and professional team environment Clear processes and project ownership
