In this role, you will lead the planning, design, and execution of complex terminal automation projects that enhance operational efficiency and safety. Your expertise in system design, construction management, and project management will drive successful project delivery from inception through completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative automation solutions within a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to advancing transportation infrastructure. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera to ensure timely delivery of terminal automation initiatives. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, review, and refine system layouts utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software. Manage construction activities by coordinating with contractors, overseeing site activities, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Utilize GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and Transportation Planning tools to support system design, spatial analysis, and infrastructure planning. Prepare detailed technical documentation including specifications, reports, and construction drawings through technical writing best practices. Monitor project progress through regular site inspections and progress meetings; adjust schedules and resources as needed to meet project milestones. Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations related to civil engineering, transportation planning, and system design. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field; master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in project engineering within construction management or civil engineering environments. Strong proficiency with project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project. Hands-on experience with CAD platforms including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and CAD management tools like Bluebeam. Familiarity with GIS applications such as ArcGIS and Transportation Planning methodologies. Knowledge of system design principles specific to terminal automation projects and transportation infrastructure. Excellent communication skills for technical writing, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
