  • CommercialProject Manager / Project Manager Finance Our steadily growing High-VoltageSubstation group based out of Raleigh, NC (USA) is looking for a highly driven,self-motivated, and solution-oriented Commercial Project Manager/ ProjectManager Finance who will be responsible for the successful financialcontrolling and reporting of construction projects.
You will work together withour technical project management organization with the main objective ofexecuting the projects according to our contractual obligations, projectmanagement, and financial reporting standards.
  • HowYou'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
  • Assume fullresponsibility for all project-related financial matters, includingaccounting, legal, tax, and foreign currency topics throughout the projectlifecycle.
  • Manage andoptimize project financial performance, including monthly forecasting ofrevenue, profit margin, and cash flow, while ensuring accurate revenuerecognition and contractual invoicing.
  • Prepare andmaintain commercial project documentation and reporting, ensuring accuracyof project financial data during execution and for regular project statusreviews.
  • Ensure compliancewith IFRS 15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines, and internalcontrols, while maintaining accurate cost calculations, pricing, and projectfinancial records in systems such as SAP and iTWO PM Imp@ct.
  • Support theProject Manager in risk and opportunity management, contractinterpretation, negotiating changes with customers or vendors, minimizingnon-conformance costs, and ensuring proper management of guarantees, bonds, andproject securities.
  • Drive continuousimprovement and knowledge sharing, including implementing lessons learned,supporting more accurate tender calculations through early project involvement,and collaborating with Procurement and other stakeholders to ensure proper contractflow-down conditions.
  • What YouBring (requirements)
  • Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a relatedfinancial field.
  • 3+ years ofprofessional experience in a similar financial project or commercial projectrole; project management certification (e.g., PMP or IPMA) is a plus.
  • Strongunderstanding of GAAP and IFRS, with the ability to read, interpret, and applycontractual terms and regulations; experience supporting construction projectsis considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency inSAP, Microsoft Office, and financial analysis, combined with strong analyticalskills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-driven anddetail-oriented team player with strong communication skills, a proactivemindset, willingness to travel (~5%), and professional working proficiency inEnglish.
  • Applicants mustbe legally authorized for employment in the United States without need forcurrent or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energyemployees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
