  • 70,000 Position Overview M Force Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager
  • Energy Management Systems (EMS) to oversee service projects involving low voltage energy management systems, building automation systems, lighting controls, power monitoring, and smart metering technologies. This Project Manager
  • Energy Management Systems (EMS) role will coordinate technicians, vendors, and customers while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal Project Manager
  • Energy Management Systems (EMS) will have experience managing field service operations, supporting building automation systems, and delivering exceptional customer service while driving operational efficiency and energy optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Manage service projects including maintenance, repairs, retrofits, upgrades, and EMS system expansions Coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and customer stakeholders Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of low voltage EMS and building automation system issues Schedule preventive maintenance activities and service work for EMS infrastructure Manage customer service requests, work orders, and service agreements Support commissioning, diagnostics, firmware updates, software updates, and system optimization Review system performance data and recommend energy efficiency improvements Prepare project schedules, service reports, cost estimates, and project documentation Manage project budgets, procurement activities, invoicing, and change orders Conduct customer meetings and provide technical and project status updates Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, cybersecurity requirements, and company procedures Support emergency response and critical system restoration activities when required Required Qualifications Degree in Energy Systems, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred 3+ years of experience managing low voltage systems, EMS/BMS service operations, or technical projects Basic electrical and lighting troubleshooting knowledge, including relays and contactors Experience with building automation systems, power monitoring systems, smart metering infrastructure, and energy management technologies Ability to read electrical drawings, control diagrams, and technical specifications Experience coordinating field service teams and customer-facing projects Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications PMP or Project Management certification Experience with Cylon, Distech, Teletrol, Novar, or RTU Controls Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, network switches, and IT communication protocols
