Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Senior Highway Project Manager to lead complex transportation projects from planning through delivery. This role drives project success across scope, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction while contributing to business growth and team development. Key Responsibilities Lead projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance Oversee development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates Manage QA/QC processes and maintain project management plans Develop and track detailed project schedules and performance metrics Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage subconsultants Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Provide regular updates, prepare reports, review invoices, and lead presentations Lead proposal efforts, including Go/No-Go decisions, strategy, and interviews Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities and new markets Build and maintain strong client relationships and professional networks Support strategic planning aligned with client programs and objectives Mentor and develop staff through coaching, feedback, and career guidance Lead performance management, including goal setting and team development Foster a culture of collaboration, quality, and client service Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas 15+ years of transportation/highway engineering experience Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Additional Qualifications Established relationships with local and regional clients Experience with delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and P3 Work Environment This role plays a critical part in delivering transportation infrastructure that improves mobility, safety, and community connectivity. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of McKinney, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
