48; depending on qualifications. Job Details The City of Plano is looking for a Housing Rehabilitation Project Coordinator or Senior Housing Rehabilitation Project Coordinator. In this full-time position, you will work in a professional team environment with dedicated people who love what they do. Your residential construction skills, such as hands-on construction, site inspections, estimating, invoicing, knowledge of the project cycle, and project oversight, are critical to ensure your success. Additionally, intermediate computer skills such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet search will help you accomplish your tasks proficiently. The ideal candidate should have excellent time management, administrative, and communication skills (oral and written), be able to multitask, possess a can-do attitude, be kind and respectful of others, value collaboration, and live and respect Plano's values.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or related field. Three years of hands-on experience in residential construction or remodeling, construction estimating and bidding, residential insurance adjustment, or as a municipal Building Inspector.
