Position Overview Location:
Plano, TX (Full-Time | In-Office) We are hiring a Project Coordinator to support security system installations and client projects. This role works closely with project managers, field technicians, vendors, and clients to keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward. This is an in-office position based in Plano, TX. Minimum 2 years of experience in the physical security industry is
REQUIRED.
Key Responsibilities Assist the Project Managers in planning and coordinating access control/security projects from start to finish. Track materials, procurement, and vendor communication Communicate project status to internal teams and clients Manage project billing, invoicing, purchase orders (POs), and project closeout documentation Track project schedules, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timelines are met. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including work orders, change orders, and closeout packages. Main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Monitor inventory and procurement of hardware/software for security installations. Coordinate site visits, technician scheduling, and client walkthroughs. Ensure all compliance, safety, and security standards are adhered to. Support project reporting, including progress updates and issue escalation. Maintain accurate records of costs, budgets, and billing for assigned projects. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in the physical security industry is
REQUIRED
(CCTV, access control, intrusion, low-voltage systems) Experience supporting security system installations Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and project management software. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients in a fast-paced environment.
