Job Description

SUMMARY Work directly under the supervision of the Director of Project Management and support the Project Management team in the coordination and execution of precast concrete projects from startup through closeout.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
, but not limited to: Assisting with project scheduling, tracking project progress, coordinating with field operations, reviewing drawings and submittals, Maintaining project documentation, communicating with customers and subcontractors, supporting procurement and material tracking, Performing site visits, and helping ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Attend meetings between Estimating/Sales to Engineering. Will learn to review contracts by verifying price with Scope of Work. Assist in additional requested information to complete contract terms such as W-9, list of contractor references, Schedule of Values, CCIP/OCIP enrollment, list of subs, etc. Will work with drafting/engineering with shop drawing preparation and submittal. Understand the importance of job schedule milestone dates such as For Approval submittal, Production start date and Erection start date. Understand Field Costs and update Completion Percentages in WIP. Will learn how to submit Requests-for-Information (RFI) and Change-Order-Requests (COR) and verify timely execution.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn the precast concrete industry and company procedures. You will be expected to proactively support project operations, Problem solving and Conflict Resolution Skills required Ability to interact with all levels of Management Basic Computer Knowledge required: Word, Excel, Blue Beam
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Project Management or Concrete Industry Management or toward this.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform general office administrative activities and visit jobsites. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
