This role is ideal for a technician or field professional ready to step into operations and project coordination , supporting installs, managing schedules, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. You will work closely with field technicians, warehouse, sales, and leadership to coordinate residential installs, light commercial work, and larger commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Operations Coordinate residential installs, mini-splits, and Aeroseal projects Support scheduling for commercial HVAC jobs (RTUs, tenant finish-outs, replacements) Manage daily operations using Housecall Pro Ensure crews are assigned, and jobs are properly scheduled Equipment & Job Staging Coordinate with warehouse to ensure all materials are ready before the installation day Manage equipment for: Residential systems (split systems, heat pumps) Commercial units (RTUs, accessories) Assist with logistics such as crane scheduling and large equipment delivery Field Coordination Communicate with technicians before and during jobs Monitor job progress and resolve issues quickly Support both: Entry-level residential crews Commercial install teams Ensure jobs stay on schedule and meet quality expectations Project Tracking & Support Track projects from estimate → scheduling → install → completion Support commercial project tracking (timelines, materials, coordination) Assist leadership with job pipeline visibility and planning Ensure documentation is completed for: Utility programs (CPS, AEP, Austin Energy) Photos and job records Communication & Customer Experience Confirm install dates with customers and commercial clients Communicate any delays or job changes proactively Act as the central point of communication between teams Requirements 2+ years HVAC field experience (REQUIRED) Experience with: Residential HVAC installs (split systems, heat pumps, mini-splits) Light commercial HVAC (RTUs, ductwork, replacements) Strong understanding of job flow from installation to completion Ability to manage multiple projects at once Comfortable using scheduling/field service software Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with: Commercial project coordination or estimating support Aeroseal or duct sealing Utility rebate programs (CPS Energy, AEP, Austin Energy) Bilingual (English/Spanish) Leadership or crew management experience Compensation $58,000 - $72,000 per year Based on experience Growth Opportunity This role can grow into: Commercial Project Manager Residential Service Manager Operations Manager Why This Role is Different Mix of residential + commercial exposure Hands-on involvement in real HVAC operations (not just paperwork) Opportunity to grow with a fast-scaling company Direct impact on field success and project delivery
Pay:
