Project Manager (ABM Industry Groups, LLC) (Reports to Sugarland, TX). Develop and implement cost control measures and level-of-service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications and contract requirements for assigned buildings. Oversee inspections, quality control measures, and inventory control systems of equipment and supplies. Utilize statistical and database software to assess and model data, and provide solutions to clients as well as supervisors, and identify problem areas to offer operational solutions. Assist in managing the technical and financial performance of all accounts while building and maintaining solid customer relationships. Analyze data and extract information in reports and databases to support P&Ls, account financial performance, and improve the bottom line. Position headquartered in Sugar Land, TX with placement at project sites nationally within the United States. Frequency and location of travel impossible to predict. Requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus one (1) year of experience in a Project Control role developing and implementing cost control measures and level of service standards to meet customer specifications and contract requirements.
Experience must include:
Analyzing project schedules and budgets, identifying potential risks, and proposing mitigation with computational complexity analysis in data science. Coordinating between project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, deliverables, and success metrics and ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Performing bid process, cost and material estimations, budget projections, quantity takeoffs, and subcontractor comparisons for steel, rebar, soil, and finishing work.
Project scheduling and budget techniques:
Critical PathMethod (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), and variance analysis. Managing and controlling the data with information systems such as Oracle Aconex, MS Project, Excel, and SQL. Developing project documentation including progress reports, financial updates, scope changes, and compliance records. Monitoring contract compliance and ensuring deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Supporting process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending enhancements to workflows, reporting, and cost-tracking systems.
