Full-Time | 24/7 On-Call Rotation Role Overview This is a hands-on, high-responsibility, high-impact role for a restoration professional who will be our first PM/Ops manager. You will own the full job lifecycle from start to finish and play a key role in stabilizing and growing operations. Current production volume is approximately 8 jobs/month, with a target of 20 jobs/month within 6-12 months. Due to this, the role is initially hybrid, combining field work, and limited business development (as needed). As volume increases and additional technicians are hired, the role will gradually transition into a primarily Project/Ops Manager with reduced field and sales responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities Operations & TPA Management:
Manage job intake from TPA programs and all other organic leads. Handle scheduling, dispatching, scoping, and strict documentation compliance within MICA, Encircle, and XactAnalysis.
Project Management:
Keep jobs on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality standards Communicate directly with customers and adjusters Ensure proper documentation to support scopes and approvals Leadership (As Team Grows): Maintain professional and safe job sites Assist in onboarding and guiding technicians as they are added Field Execution (Initial Phase - Temp): Sketch, perform demolition, equipment setup, daily monitoring You must be willing to work in any loss category including attics, crawlspaces and Cat 3 losses, and perform manual labor. Manage equipment, inventory and supplies Business Development (Temporary): During low production periods, build relationships with referral sources (plumbers, insurance agents, HVAC companies, realtors, etc.) Support lead generation efforts as needed This responsibility will decrease as job volume increases Requirements (Non-Negotiable, must haves)
Experience:
3+ years in restoration; minimum 2 years hands-on mitigation
Technical:
Working knowledge of XactAnalysis, MICA, Encircle, and manual sketching
Certification:
IICRC WRT
required
Availability:
Must participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays)
Physical:
Able to perform demolition, lift equipment, and work in confined spaces/
PPE Background:
Valid driver's license; must pass background check and drug test Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Xactimate (estimating and sketching)
IICRC ASD, AMRT
(Mold), or Texas Mold Remediation License EPA Lead-Safe (RRP) certification Knowledge of Texas regulations (Lead, Asbestos, Mold) Compensation & Benefits Probation Period (First 1-6 Months): $17-$30/hour (based on experience, with OT at 1.5x) + 1% commission on all completed jobs (TPA and non-TPA) Use of personal phone/laptop required during probation
Post-Probation:
$50,000 annual salary + 2% commission on all completed jobs (TPA and non-TPA) Total comp: $60,000 ~ $75,000 A "completed job" is defined as a project where: All mitigation/restoration work is fully completed The job has been properly documented and closed out in the system (photos, notes, drying logs, etc.) and submitted/approved The employee served as the assigned PM responsible for setup, coordination, and execution through completion Notes on commission: Commission is earned on all collected revenue for jobs assigned to and managed by the employee, including approved supplements. Revenue is counted as it is collected (not when invoiced), and commission is paid based on actual collected payments for assigned jobs. Assisting on a job does not qualify for commission unless the employee is designated as the assigned PM.
