Job Description

This Sr. Project Manager role sits at the center of driving large, cross-functional, executive-sponsored initiatives that shape how the business operates and scales. You will lead complex, enterprise-wide projects from strategy through execution—ensuring alignment across teams, clarity of priorities, and successful delivery of outcomes that directly impact organizational performance, efficiency, and execution excellence. This role also plays a key part in strengthening project management discipline across the organization through standards, tools, and capability building.

Location/Schedule:
This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Lead large, executive-sponsored, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion Define and implement project strategies, frameworks, and approaches to ensure successful delivery Oversee cross-functional workstreams and manage full project lifecycle activities Facilitate decision-making with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment on scope, timeline, budget, and priorities Develop and maintain project plans that clearly define deliverables, dependencies, critical path, and resource needs Apply change management principles throughout project lifecycles to support adoption and execution Build and deliver project management tools, training, and curriculum to strengthen organizational capability Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership and broader stakeholders Manage third-party vendors and external partners as needed to support project delivery You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA preferred) 5+ years of progressive project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives Experience managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities Strong ability to influence, facilitate decision-making, and drive alignment across all levels of an organization Proven track record of operating independently, exercising strong judgment, and solving complex problems The Maverik Spirit - you're a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Bonus points if you also bring: PMP certification or other formal project management certification Experience building or delivering project management training or frameworks Experience leading enterprise change management initiatives
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$110,000-$130,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
