Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Controls role based in Salt Lake City, UT. The Project Controls professional will support project teams by developing, monitoring, and updating project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports. Responsibilities include tracking and analyzing project costs, preparing variance and performance reports, and providing timely insights to project managers and stakeholders. The role will involve establishing and maintaining project control systems, validating data integrity, and ensuring consistency with contract requirements and company standards. The individual will collaborate with construction, engineering, and finance teams to support planning, risk identification, change management, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. The position also includes contributing to process improvements, documentation, and best practices for cost and schedule control. Qualifications Strong project controls foundation, including Project Control experience and familiarity with standard methodologies and tools. Cost-focused capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management, with a track record of monitoring, forecasting, and reporting project expenditures. Budgeting skills, including development, maintenance, and reconciliation of project budgets and forecasts. Analytical skills applied to data analysis, variance analysis, and performance metrics to support decision-making. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency with spreadsheets and project control software; experience with ERP, cost management, or scheduling tools is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders. Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred, especially in a project controls or cost management capacity.
