Project Manager Na Ali'i Consulting & Sales, LLC. - 3.9 Arlington, VA Job Details Full-time $111,500 - $167,500 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Data-driven problem-solving Full Job Description Nakupuna Solutions is seeking a Project Manager who will lead and manage a team within the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy (GHSD), which is responsible for implementing the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) - the U.S. Government initiative launched in 2003 focused on saving and improving the lives of those suffering from
HIV/AIDS
around the world. The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Project Manager may be assigned additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Responsible for spearheading strategic initiatives by conceiving, formulating, recommending, and implementing policies to address critical internal and external program issues. Your expertise will guide field implementation, USG policy, technical direction, and long-term planning, adapting to changes in legislation, program authority, and funding. Provides overall project management oversight to ensure the project meets cost, schedule, and performance requirements. Manage resources across the project to ensure exceptional performance and lead the Nakupuna and subcontractor team by providing strategic direction aligned with the mission and strategy of the GHSD. Maintains effective relationships with clients, routinely interfacing with government leadership to align efforts and resources, resolve issues, and provide advice/recommendations. Ensures the development of project planning documentation outlining the management approach, controls, organizational resources, deliverables, and delivery dates. Drives performance improvement and process/cost efficiencies. Performs personnel performance management functions such as setting performance goals, assessing performance, providing coaching/mentoring, and addressing performance and conduct issues, including recommending disciplinary actions. Actively engages in hiring processes to ensure appropriate staffing. Coordinates projects with interdependencies between various integrated product teams to ensure effective outcomes and alignment of deliverables across projects within the contract, fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery. Oversees and reports to senior management and executive leadership on project execution and financial performance metrics such as profit margin, utilization, and cost execution, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing. Coordinate with Nakupuna Leadership and Shared Services to facilitate necessary support for successful project execution and collaborates with stakeholders across the program office to ensure alignment in execution. Keep the GHSD leadership informed of execution performance, potential risks, and opportunities. Develops and drives long-term planning for employee development, contract success, recompetes, and growth. Manages and supports project teams across multiple client offices, providing project management and communications support, overseeing contract deliverables and compliance, coaching and mentoring team members, and being accountable for employee engagement, managing personnel actions, including recruiting, hiring processes, and performance plans. Manages corporate project updates and burn plans, collaborating with executives, senior managers, project managers, and shared services to promote and facilitate high-quality service delivery. Serve as a single point of contact for the contract, engaging with clients to obtain performance feedback regularly, striving for continuous process improvement, and performing additional duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
Must be self-motivated, have strong attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills. Must be in good physical condition and can occasionally travel. The ideal candidate possesses expertise and experience in the business development cycle. Specifically, the ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Education and Experience:
This position requires at least five years of relevant work experience. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. PMP certification is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and inform decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
Clearance Requirements:
This position requires an active Secret security clearance.
